Shruti Graf
Shruti Graf was born in India and came to Tallahassee in 1999. She earned her doctoral degree in human sciences followed by a master’s degree in public administration from Florida State University. Shruti’s career in public service spans over two decades within the nonprofit and government sectors, primarily focused on public policy research and program evaluation. The nature of her work has involved using problem-solving skills to draft public policy proposals to address pressing issues.
Shruti is a first-generation naturalized U.S. citizen and takes pride in her American citizenship. She shares the core American values of hard work, equality, and exploring possibilities with optimism. Shruti has faith in the innate humanity that resides in us and believes strongly in our shared responsibility in preserving a representative democracy. For these reasons, Shruti joined the League’s Tallahassee chapter in December 2022 and became a member of the board in April 2023.
Over the years, Shruti has nurtured her adventurous spirit, exploring sights near and far, including the beautiful American national parks, with her husband. Shruti appreciates wit and enjoys running, hiking, and reading.
