Recycling your Campaign & Yard Signs
Do you have campaign yard signs - or other wire frame yard signs from businesses - that are no longer needed?
For a limited time Campaign & Other Yard Signs can be recycled and made into reusable materials - which will reduce landfill waste! Recycling bins will be available in several locations throughout Leon County after each election. Look for them in the parking lot at each location, allowing for easy unloading of signs from your vehicle into the bin.

Recycling Bin Dates
Campaign & other yard signs can be placed in specially marked yellow dumpster bins following the primary and general elections on these dates:

-
Wednesday through Friday
August 19 - September 18, 2026 -
Wednesday through Friday
November 4 - December 4, 2026

Thanks to local volunteers and partners, recycling kept 2,289 pounds of material out of the waste stream in 2024. That means less landfill volume, fewer raw materials used to manufacture new products, and more responsible use of community resources.
