Janet McPherson

Jan joined the League in 2022 and is a member of the Natural Resources and Clean Energy committee.  In addition to her interest in natural resources, she helped address postcards supporting Amendment 4 in the last general election.  She also addressed lots of postcards with information about the League’s assistance with restoration of voting rights.  These issues are also  important to her. 

 

Jan retired in 2016 from the First District Court of Appeal, where she was Librarian for 14 years, then Administrative Assistant for 8 years. She has an Associates degree in Library Science and worked 5 years at the FSU Law School Library and 8 years at the Carlton, Fields Law Firm.  Jan looks forward to serving on the LWV board this term.
