Shruti Graf

Shruti Graf was born in India and moved to Tallahassee to pursue graduate studies. She earned her doctoral degree in human sciences followed by a master’s degree in public administration from Florida State University. Shruti’s career in public service spans over two decades, involving public policy and program evaluation within the nonprofit and government sectors.
Shruti is a first-generation naturalized U.S. citizen and takes pride in her American citizenship. She shares the core American values of hard work, equality, liberty, and justice. Shruti believes strongly in our shared responsibility in preserving a representative democracy. For these reasons, Shruti joined the League of Women Voters in December 2022 and has served on the board of League’s Tallahassee chapter since April 2023. Shruti actively participates in voter education and engagement initiatives locally.
Over the years, Shruti has nurtured her adventurous spirit, exploring sights near and far, including the beautiful American national parks. Shruti enjoys running, hiking, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
