Join the League
As a valued member of our community, we hope you’ll join us in contributing to efforts that will make Tallahassee and Leon County stronger. Members of the League of Women Voters of Tallahassee (LWVT) have many opportunities to create an impact on local, state, and even national issues.
The League is a nonpartisan civic organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. Your membership gives LWVT the political influence needed to build a voice for citizens and a force for change.
We cover a broad spectrum of issues and concerns. You may choose to become involved in one or more of them by participating in group study and action, listening to a panel of experts or a speaker at our meetings, or reading about them in our publications and emails. Or, you may simply want to show your support of League activities by paying annual dues or donating. It’s up to you!
