
Laura Rush
Laura Rush practiced law in Tallahassee for 38 years, and remains an active member of The Florida Bar. She was a volunteer attorney with the Leon County Neighborhood Justice Center and Legal Services of North Florida.
In recent years, she has served as a classroom volunteer and mentor at Medart Elementary School in Wakulla County, a docent with the Gadsden Arts Center and Museum, a member of the board of the Friends of St. Marks Wildlife Refuge, and a member of the board of the Tallahassee Irish Society.
In 2017, Laura joined the Tallahassee League's Voter Services Committee, and in 2023 was named Chair of the Committee. As Chair she hope to help improve voter education, and facilitate efficient use of new technologies with our outstanding League volunteers for local and regional voter registration efforts; and put her passion and talents to work to help expand voter access, and fight voter suppression.
As Board Member she will support local initiatives to Empower Voters and Defend Democracy.
