Lobby Corps:
What do they
do?
Monitor Legislative committee meetings and legislative sessions as appropriate either in person, on TV or via the internet
Write reports of observations for the Lobby Corps director, LWVF Action Chair and LWVF legislative liaison
Participate in activities such as leafleting Legislative offices to distribute League postions on specific pending legislation.
How much time
do I need to contribute?
It is entirely up to
you! The Lobby Corps functions mainly during the regular session.
it's always good for our elected officials and their staff to see League members conspicuously in attendance. You may develop an interest in a specific issue and your perspective will be invaluable.
