What do they
do?
- Become informed on local, state and national health
care reform including issues of access, financing and delivery of health care
consistent with the LWVUS and LWVF position.
-Support and participate in local events, such as
public educational forums, which promote our health care policy position.
-Monitor designated Community/County/City
health-related committees and Florida's health care legislation.
How much time
do I need to contribute?
We meet monthly for about 1 1/2 hours for report updates
and new business. Additional volunteer
time is determined by the activities and issues in which you are involved.
