ELECTIONS / ADOPT-A-PRECINCT

 

What do they do?

In election years, volunteers serve as poll workers and donate their earnings to the League


Volunteers may work together at a polling place, thus "adopting" that precinct


The Supervisor of Elections office provides training

 

How much time do I need to contribute?


About 3 hours in necessary to complete the training each election cycle


On election day, workers report to their assigned polling place at 6:00am and stay until the polls close at 7:00pm.


Volunteers are needed for both primary and general elections.
